Pinto joined the U.S. youth national team setup at age 12 when she was invited to the Under-14 talent identification camp. She went on to play for the United States U-17 team at the 2016 FIFA U-17 World Cup and the U.S. U-20 team at the 2018 FIFA U-20 World Cup, appearing in every match at both tournaments despite being two years younger than the cutoff age for the latter event.
