Caleb Farley was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the 22nd overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed a fully guaranteed four-year contract worth $13.945 million with the Titans. However, his career began on a challenging note as he was placed on the non-football injury list before training camp. After passing a physical, he was activated and participated in his first practice. Unfortunately, in Week 6 of the 2021 season, Farley suffered a torn ACL, which led to him being placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Breakthrough (2023-2024)
Farley’s second season with the Titans was marred by further injuries. He played in nine games before suffering a herniated disk in his back in Week 10, which again resulted in him being placed on injured reserve. After undergoing a microdiscectomy, he was unable to play for the remainder of the season. In 2023, Farley began the season on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. On May 2, 2024, the Titans declined the fifth-year option on his contract, making him a free agent after the 2024 season. He was released on August 27, 2024, after which he signed with the Carolina Panthers practice squad on October 2, 2024. Farley made his debut with the Panthers on October 27 against the Denver Broncos and was signed to the active roster on November 18.
