Early Life and Background

Codi Dalton Heuer was born on July 3, 1996, in Missoula, Montana. Heuer spent part of his childhood in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he attended Fossil Ridge High School. During his senior year in 2015, he achieved a remarkable feat by throwing a complete game shutout, striking out 17 batters, which set a school record. After high school, Heuer enrolled at Wichita State University to play college baseball for the Shockers.
