Conor Joseph Doyle (born October 13, 1991) is an American soccer player who plays for South Georgia Tormenta in the USL League One. He began his career in 2010 after being discovered by a scout and has since played for multiple teams including Derby County and D.C. United. Doyle has represented the United States at youth international levels.
Early Life and Background
Conor Joseph Doyle was born in McKinney, Texas, United States. He attended McKinney Boyd High School, where he played soccer and graduated in December 2009. Following high school, he enrolled early at Creighton University to play college soccer for the Creighton Bluejays. During his time at Creighton, he participated in all seven spring exhibitions in 2010, contributing to a perfect record of 7–0–0.
Path to Soccer
Doyle played his youth soccer with the Dallas Texans Soccer Club. He was discovered by a scout from Derby County during a tournament in the summer of 2009, which led to a three-day trial with the club. After impressing the coaching staff, he was invited back for a longer trial and subsequently signed a two-year contract with Derby County in August 2010, before making an official appearance for Creighton.

In July 2013, Doyle joined D.C. United on loan, where he made an immediate impact by scoring his first professional goal in a match against Montreal Impact. His performance helped the team secure the 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Doyle’s move to D.C. United became permanent after the 2013 season.
