Courtney Talbot Brown was born in West Haven, Utah, where she was raised as one of four children to parents Brett and Meechelle Talbot. From a young age, Brown was exposed to soccer, attending camps at Brigham Young University, where she met future teammate Ashley Hatch. She attended Fremont High School, excelling in soccer, basketball, and track. During her sophomore year in 2016, she played a crucial role in leading her soccer team to the state championship match, scoring a game-tying goal before ultimately losing.
