Daniel Richard Schneemann (born January 23, 1997) is an American professional baseball utility player for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball at Brigham Young University (BYU). In 2017, he played collegiate summer baseball with the St. Cloud Rox of the Northwoods League.

Daniel Schneemann made his professional debut with the rookie-level Arizona League Indians in 2018, where he played in 41 games and recorded a batting average of .206. In 2019, he advanced to the Single–A Lake County Captains, appearing in 70 games and improving his performance with a batting line of .287/.366/.374, including two home runs and 30 runs batted in (RBI). The year 2020 was challenging for many players, including Schneemann, as he did not participate in any games due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, he returned to action in 2021, playing for both Lake County and the Double–A Akron RubberDucks. In 51 games, he achieved a batting line of .252/.315/.407, contributing six home runs, 30 RBI, and nine stolen bases.
Breakthrough (2021–2024)
In 2022, Daniel Schneemann continued to develop his skills with the Akron RubberDucks, also earning a late-season opportunity with the Triple–A Columbus Clippers. He played 112 games for Akron, finishing the season with a batting average of .205 and six home runs. His performance improved in 2023, as he played the entire season with Columbus, appearing in 114 games and achieving career-highs with a .267 batting average, 16 home runs, 60 RBI, and 17 stolen bases. The 2024 season marked a significant milestone for Schneemann, as he began the year with Triple–A Columbus, where he excelled with a .294 batting average, 10 home runs, and 39 RBI across 53 games. On June 2, 2024, he was selected to the 40-man roster and made his major league debut, hitting a two-RBI double on his first pitch against the Washington Nationals.
