Early Life and Background

Dustin Harris was born in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. He attended Land O’ Lakes High School, where he was recognized for his talent in baseball, earning First Team All-State honors during his senior season in 2017. After graduating, he was not drafted out of high school and chose to play college baseball at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida. During his time there, he had an impressive season in 2018, hitting .373 with 33 runs batted in (RBI).
In the summer of 2018, Harris played for the Worcester Bravehearts in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, where he continued to showcase his skills. He hit .306 with two home runs and 42 RBI, earning a spot as a league All-Star. Following his sophomore season, he transferred to Florida Atlantic University, where he further developed his game.
