Ja’Marcus Ingram (born September 2, 1997) is an American professional football cornerback for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Utah State Aggies, later transferring to Texas Tech before joining Buffalo as a graduate transfer. Ja’Marcus Ingram was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in Carthage, Texas. He attended South Oak Cliff High School, where he was one of nine siblings. In high school, Ingram played as a receiver but did not make the varsity team until his senior year due to his smaller frame of 5 feet 10 inches and 140 pounds as a junior.
