He played college football for the Utah State Aggies, later transferring to Texas Tech before joining Buffalo as a graduate transfer. Ja’Marcus Ingram was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in Carthage, Texas. He attended South Oak Cliff High School, where he was one of nine siblings.
