Jack Devine is an American ice hockey right wing for the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 221st overall by the Panthers in the 2022 NHL entry draft. He played college ice hockey at the University of Denver, where he achieved several notable milestones including being an NCAA scoring champion.

Jack Devine was born on October 1, 2003, in Glencoe, Illinois, USA. He attended New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, where he began to develop his skills in ice hockey. His early exposure to the sport came through local teams and programs, which laid the foundation for his future career. Devine later moved to Michigan to join the USA Hockey National Team Development Program, further honing his abilities in a competitive environment.
Path to Hockey
Devine played two seasons for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. During the 2019–20 season, he recorded 13 goals and 31 assists in 49 games for the Under-17 team, and six goals and 20 assists in 29 USHL games. In the following season, he continued to excel, scoring nine goals and 11 assists in 30 games for the Under-18 team. Throughout his freshman season, he recorded three goals and 16 assists in 36 games and contributed to Denver’s ninth NCAA tournament championship in program history. Devine’s sophomore year saw him record 14 goals and 17 assists in 38 games, tying for second on the team with four game-winning goals.
