Early Life and Background

Jonah Jackson grew up in Media, Pennsylvania. He started his football career at an early age playing for the Rose Tree Colts. He continued playing football into high school, attending Penncrest High School. During his senior year, he was named first-team All-Central Athletic League and first-team All-Delaware County, showcasing his talent and potential as a young athlete. Jackson’s early exposure to football laid the foundation for his future career in the sport. He pursued his education at Penncrest High School, where he excelled both academically and athletically.

He signed a four-year contract with the Lions on June 24, 2020, and was named the starting right guard going into his rookie season. Jackson made his NFL debut on September 13, 2020, in the season opener against the Chicago Bears, where he started at right guard and played 90% of the Lions’ offensive snaps. Over his first two seasons, he started 32 of a possible 33 games, demonstrating his reliability and skill as a player. He was selected to play in the 2022 Pro Bowl as an injury replacement, marking a significant achievement in his early career.

Breakthrough (2024)

On March 14, 2024, Jonah Jackson signed a three-year, $51 million contract with the Los Angeles Rams, marking a new chapter in his professional journey.
