Keegan Lee Akin is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2020. Akin attended Bullock Creek High School in Midland, Michigan, and then went on to play college baseball at Western Michigan University.

Early Life and Background

Keegan Akin was born on April 1, 1995, in Midland, Michigan. He grew up in a community that fostered his interest in sports, particularly baseball. Akin was promoted to the major leagues on August 8, 2020, and made his MLB debut on August 14 against the Washington Nationals. Despite the challenges of a rookie season, Akin demonstrated his potential as a valuable pitcher for the Orioles.
