He defeated Parel again at the Principal Charity Classic in June, this time on the second extra hole. In November 2020, Sutherland captured his second Charles Schwab Cup Championship, beating Paul Broadhurst on the ninth playoff hole in a Monday finish, and lifted the Charles Schwab Cup trophy for the second time.
