Camilo “Milo” Eifler is an American professional football linebacker who was born on February 13, 1998, in Berkeley, California. He played college football for the Washington Huskies and Illinois Fighting Illini. After going undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, Eifler signed with the New York Jets and has since played for several teams including the Miami Dolphins, Washington Football Team, Atlanta Falcons, and currently, the Arizona Cardinals. Early Life and Background
Eifler was born in Berkeley, California, and was adopted by research professor Rachel Morello-Frosch and David Eifler. He attended Bishop O’Dowd High School, where he played both running back and linebacker. Initially, he did not play as a freshman but was encouraged by Hardy Nickerson to try out for the football team as a sophomore. During his junior year, Eifler earned first-team All-WACC, third-team All-East Bay, and honorable mention San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro honors. As a senior, he was named first-team All-West Alameda County Conference-Foothill League at the outside linebacker position and received an invitation to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Eifler was highly regarded as a prospect, being ranked as the number 94 prospect in the nation by Scout.com and 118 by Rivals.com.
Path to American Football
After graduating from high school, Eifler accepted a scholarship offer from the University of Washington. He spent his freshman season in 2016 as a redshirt and did not see any playing time. In 2017, he played in all 13 games, making six total tackles. Eifler transferred to the University of Illinois in 2018 but did not play that year due to transfer rules. In 2019, he played in all 13 games for Illinois, starting 12 at linebacker, and made 69 total tackles, ten for loss, along with a fumble return touchdown against Minnesota. In his senior year in 2020, he appeared in six games, starting five, and compiled 27 tackles and one sack.

Early Career (2021)
After going unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft, Eifler signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent. However, he was waived during roster cuts. Shortly after, he was signed by the Miami Dolphins to their practice squad on September 3, 2021.
Breakthrough (2021-2023)
Eifler signed with the Washington Football Team on December 7, 2021, where he made his NFL debut in Week 14. He re-signed with Washington on March 17, 2022, but was placed on injured reserve on October 8, 2022. He was activated from injured reserve on November 25, 2022. On February 28, 2023, he signed a one-year contract extension with the Commanders. However, he was released on August 28, 2023, as part of the final roster cuts before the start of the 2023 season.
