His strong performance earned him a spot on the East All-American second team.

Breakthrough (2023–Present)

Following his junior season with the University of Connecticut in 2022-23, Tverberg signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 15, 2023. He was immediately signed to a professional tryout contract to join the Toronto Marlies for the remainder of the season. Tverberg attended the Maple Leafs’ 2023 training camp, but he was assigned to the Marlies to start the 2023-24 season.
