Early Career (2020–2023)

Shaquille Quarterman was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, being the 140th overall pick. He made his NFL debut on September 13, 2020, during the season opener against the Indianapolis Colts, where he contributed on special teams. Unfortunately, Quarterman faced challenges early in his career, as he was placed on injured reserve on November 7, 2020, but was activated again on December 5, 2020. He continued to develop his skills with the Jaguars until 2023, when he transitioned to other teams.

Breakthrough (2024)

In 2024, Quarterman signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on August 5, but was waived shortly thereafter. He then signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on August 12, but faced further challenges, being released and re-signed to the practice squad.
