Taryn Layne Torres (born April 23, 1999) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). She played college soccer for the Virginia Cavaliers and was selected by Gotham in the 2021 NWSL Draft. She has represented the United States at the youth international level, including appearances with the U-17 and U-20 national teams. Standing 5 ft 6 in tall, she wears the number 8 shirt for Gotham FC and is recognized as a creative, technical midfielder.

Taryn Torres grew up in Frisco, Texas, one of two daughters born to Eric and Misty Torres. Her father, Eric, played college baseball at the University of New Mexico, giving the household a strong athletic background. Her sister, Hollyn Torres, went on to play college soccer at Harvard and the University of South Carolina.
