Jon Gray is an American professional baseball pitcher whose MLB career has spanned the Colorado Rockies and the Texas Rangers. Drafted third overall in 2013 out of the University of Oklahoma, Gray debuted in 2015 and developed into a frontline starter known for an upper-90s fastball and a sharp slider. He was a Rockies Opening Day starter in 2017 and 2018, signed a four-year, $56 million deal with Texas before 2022, and won the 2023 World Series after earning the win in Game 3.
