Timothy Liljegren is a Swedish-American professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing in the National Hockey League. Selected 17th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, he made his SHL debut with Rögle BK in 2015 before winning the Calder Cup with the Toronto Marlies in 2018. After spending several seasons in the Maple Leafs organization, he was traded to the San Jose Sharks in October 2024 and then to the Washington Capitals in March 2026.
