The Ottawa Black Bears are a professional box lacrosse team based in Ottawa, Canada, competing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Established in 2024 following the relocation of the New York Riptide, the team plays its home games at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata, Ontario. The Black Bears mark the return of professional box lacrosse to Ottawa since 2003, aiming to build a strong presence in the league. Owned by GF Sports, both the general manager and head coach roles are held by Dan MacRae. The team colors are black, red, gold, and white.
