Team Information

The San Francisco Unicorns are a professional Twenty20 cricket team competing in Major League Cricket (MLC) based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 2023, the team plays its home matches at the Oakland Coliseum and sports the colors orange and blue. Owned by Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, the Unicorns represent one of the six franchises in the league's inaugural season and have an affiliate relationship with the Bay Blazers in Minor League Cricket. The team is coached by former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson and is captained by Pat Cummins following Aaron Finch's retirement. The Unicorns aim to serve as a launchpad for cricket's growth in the United States, especially within the Bay Area.
