Mayor Bobby Wagner highlighted the grant’s role in covering essential facilities like shaded areas and bathrooms. He stated that they aim to use these facilities to develop walkable infrastructure and increase community unity.

The new pickleball courts will be situated off Indian Bayou Trail near the dog park. The city plans to break ground within the next few months, targeting early 2025 for the project’s completion.
