Bottom Tier Women of MLP Premier Level Dreambreakers Striving for Improvement

Bottom Tier Women of MLP Premier Level: As the Major League Pickleball (MLP) season continues, a closer examination of the bottom five women in Dreambreakers at the Premier Level, reveals some surprising information and observations into their performances. Among the 84 players who have competed in at least 25 Dreambreaker points this year, the following players have struggled to achieve success on the court.

Jessie Irvine: Battling for Consistency

Jessie Irvine, representing the Carolina Pickleball Club, has faced challenges this season, achieving a success rate of only 34.48%. Over 58 Dreambreaker points played, she has scored just 20 points for her team while accepting 38 against.

Irvine’s struggles have placed her in the lower tier of performers, reflecting the difficulty of consistently competing against top opponents.

Etta Wright: Facing Tough Competition

Etta Wright of the Texas Ranchers has posted a success rate of 34.21% across 38 points. With only 13 points scored for her team and 25 points allowed, Wright’s performance shows the difficulty of often facing the opposing team’s best player in the first woman position. This situating impacts her win percentage, suggesting that a shift in placement could lead to improved stats.

Brooke Buckner: A Surprising Struggle

Brooke Buckner, despite being a top-five singles player on the PPA Tour, has found herself at the bottom of the Dreambreaker rankings with a success rate of 30.30%. Competing for the Columbus Sliders and the Carolina Pickleball Club, Buckner has played 33 points, securing just 10 points while allowing 23 against. Her unexpected struggles in Dreambreakers raise questions about her adaptation to the team format.

Meghan Dizon: In Search of Improvement

Representing the Columbus Sliders, Meghan Dizon has experienced difficulties this season, achieving a mere 26.47% success rate over 34 Dreambreaker points.

She has managed to score only 9 points while conceding 25 against, reflecting a challenging year. Dizon’s stats indicate the need for adjustments to enhance her overall performance in upcoming events.

Callie Smith: A Need for Strategic Positioning

Callie Smith, of the Utah Black Diamonds, rounds out the bottom five with a success rate of 25.00%. Across 36 points played, she has scored 9 points for her team while allowing 27 against.

Like her fellow competitors, Smith’s struggles can be attributed to frequently playing the first woman position. A change to a lower position might improve her statistics and provide her with a better chance to excel.
