Canada National Pickleball Championships: Pickleball Nova Scotia proudly presents the 2024 Myoflex Pickleball Canada National Championships. This prestigious event offers players the chance to compete in up to five different events over five days. Competitions include Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles categorized by skill levels (3.5 and below, 4.0 and above), along with Skill/Age Singles and Skill/Age Doubles.

Format and Schedule
- August 19: Practice from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Opening Ceremonies at 6:00 PM, and Maritime Kitchen Party at Steel Wheels Motor Museum.
- August 20: Round Robin – Men’s and Women’s Doubles Age, 3.5 and Under, and 4.0 and over.
- August 21: Round Robin – Mixed Doubles Age, 3.5 and Under, and 4.0 and over.
- August 22: Double Elimination – Skill/Age Women’s Singles and Skill/Age Men’s Singles.
- August 23: Double Elimination – Women’s Doubles Open and Skill/Age Men’s Doubles.
- August 24: Double Elimination – Mixed Doubles Open and Skill/Age Mixed Doubles.
Tournament Features
- Courts: Matches will be held on indoor and outdoor courts, all lined for pickleball on existing Har-Tru tennis courts.
- Live Streaming: Championship matches will be professionally live-streamed with commentary.
- Registration Cap: Limits are set to ensure competitions conclude by early evening each day.
Participation
- Eligibility: Open to Canadian citizens only. Proof of citizenship is required.
- Membership: All participants must be members of Pickleball Canada.
Tournament Guidelines
- Match Format:
- Day 1 & 2: Round Robin, games to 11 win by 2 (events with fewer than 6 teams will play to 15 win by 2).
- Day 3, 4 & 5: Double Elimination, with matches on the “A” side best 2 out of 3 games to 11 win by 2, and “B” side one game to 15 win by 2.
- Ball: The official tournament ball is the FRANKLIN X-40 OUTDOOR OPTIC YELLOW.
- Referees: Level 1 Referees compensated $7 per match, Level 2 $10, Certified Referees $15. Volunteer referees with appropriate training are encouraged to sign up.
