He competes part-time in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, driving the No. 87 Chevrolet Camaro SS for Peterson Racing. Sanchez first rose to national attention as the 2022 ARCA Menards Series champion and later won the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year.
