Sweden’s New Pickleball Haven: For people who love pickleball in the Town of Sweden, there’s a brand new outdoor place to play! Last autumn, they set up new pickleball courts at the Sweden/Clarkson Community Center, located at 4927 Lake Road. Now, everyone can enjoy playing pickleball there.
At the Community Center, you could always play pickleball indoors in the gym at certain times all year. But now, with the new outdoor courts, you can play whenever you want, even outside of those specific times. It’s a great chance to enjoy pickleball outdoors.
Last year, the Town Board made a decision to change one of the three outdoor basketball courts into three pickleball courts. They also transformed a second basketball court into a tennis court. They rebuilt the third basketball court. The courts are in a handy spot with lots of parking available.
