Reflecting on her basketball skills, Bright recalled a humorous moment involving her friend Zane Navratil. “I made two free throws,” she said, challenging Navratil’s claim of missing a free throw. “We’ll have to pull up the evidence.”

Bright also revealed an interesting perspective on her potential in other sports. Although she feels she wasn’t particularly good at football, she expressed confidence in her abilities in volleyball. If I did not play pickleball, I think I could have been a good setter or libero in volleyball,” she mused, despite never having played the sport.

When discussing her experiences with public performances, Bright compared the pressure of throwing the first pitch to the nerves of shooting free throws and three-pointers at halftime. “I was pretty chill about the first pitch,” she said but admitted that shooting during a halftime show felt more nerve-wracking.

“The stadium’s a little more intimate, and there are a lot of people watching,” she explained. Despite the nerves, Bright managed to handle both situations with a commendable level of composure.

Bright’s candid reflections on her athletic abilities and public performances provide a glimpse into the multifaceted talents and experiences of the pickleball champion, highlighting her versatility and calm under pressure.
