Chip Ganassi Racing has presented a refreshed livery for its #10 car ahead of the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series season. Alex Palou will drive the vehicle featuring this new design, which highlights the continued partnership with global logistics leader DHL.
The updated paint scheme retains the traditional red and yellow colors associated with DHL but emphasizes yellow more prominently. Red now appears mostly on the car’s edges, the engine cover’s top, and the rear wing, marking a noticeable change from previous seasons.
Creative Process and Driver Involvement in New Look
The new livery was introduced through a playful video shared on social media, showing Palou actively directing its creation. In the clip, he brought in images of DHL brand designs and persistently requested ‘more’ yellow to be incorporated into the car’s appearance.
Palou has been sponsored primarily by DHL since the shipping company shifted its backing from Andretti at the end of 2023. It is anticipated that the #10 vehicle will carry DHL’s branding for most of the 18-race schedule in 2026, although other sponsors or alternate liveries may appear for select races, as happened in the previous season.
Season Outlook and Palou’s Title Defense
Alex Palou is set to recommence racing in less than four weeks as he prepares to defend his fourth IndyCar championship, which he earned last August. The opening round of the 2026 season will be held on the streets of St. Petersburg from February 27 through March 1, kicking off what promises to be an exciting competition calendar.
