From February 9 to 14, the Philadelphia Union Academy organized the first-ever Snow Bowl tournament at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex in Chester, Pennsylvania. This event brought together leading youth clubs from Europe and North America, showcasing a high level of competition and serving as a key preparation opportunity for the participating teams ahead of the 2026 Generation adidas Cup.
Featuring age groups under 15, 16, and 18, the tournament included prestigious clubs such as Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, S.L. The Philadelphia Union’s oldest academy teams used the Snow Bowl as a valuable platform to gear up for the Generation adidas Cup, scheduled to take place at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, from March 27 to April 4.

U-18, U-16, and U-15 Champions Crowned in Competitive Matches
The under-18 division saw the Philadelphia Union secure the championship with a narrow 1-0 win over Denmark’s Lyngby Boldklub. Gunnar Graham scored the decisive goal, while Tyler Gladstone of Philadelphia earned the U-18 Most Valuable Player award for his standout performances.
In the under-16 category, Portuguese club S.L. Benfica clinched the title with a 2-0 victory against the Union’s team. Despite the loss, Philadelphia’s Timoni Gbalajobi emerged as the U-16 tournament’s Golden Boot winner, highlighting his scoring prowess throughout the competition.
The under-15 contest ended with Mexico’s CF Monterrey lifting the trophy after a thrilling 4-3 comeback win against Manchester United from England, showcasing the tournament’s intense and closely fought matches.
