LeBron James Leads Lakers to Win Without Luka Doncic

LeBron James delivered a strong performance with 20 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds, guiding the Los Angeles Lakers to a 105-99 win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night in Los Angeles. The Lakers achieved their third consecutive victory without star guard Luka Doncic, who missed the game due to a mild hamstring strain sustained Thursday, while center DeAndre Ayton was also unavailable because of a knee issue.

New Acquisition Luke Kennard Contributes in Lakers Debut

Luke Kennard, recently acquired from Atlanta in a trade, made his Lakers debut by scoring 10 points. He played a key role in the closing stages, hitting a corner three-pointer and assisting Jarred Vanderbilt for a dunk during an 11-0 run to seal the game. Rui Hachimura added 18 points, Austin Reaves contributed 16, and Marcus Smart scored 15 for Los Angeles.

Warriors Struggle Without Stephen Curry

Moses Moody led Golden State with 25 points as the Warriors lost their fourth game in six outings. The team faced challenges from the perimeter, shooting only 27.5% on 14 of 51 attempts behind the arc. Stephen Curry was absent for the third consecutive game with a knee injury. Although the Warriors managed to find some rhythm early in the fourth quarter, it was not enough to overcome the Lakers’ lead.

LeBron James Sparks Third-Quarter Rally

The Lakers’ offense gained momentum in the third quarter, sparked by a 10-2 run that began with Austin Reaves’ free throw, awarded after Draymond Green received a technical foul late in the second quarter. James scored 12 points during the period, including two three-pointers and two three-point plays, helping Los Angeles build an eight-point advantage.

Upcoming Schedules for Both Teams

The Warriors are scheduled to host Memphis on Monday night, while the Lakers will face Oklahoma City at home that same evening.
