LeBron James Spotted at Golf Range Before Lakers Win

Four-time NBA Most Valuable Player LeBron James enjoyed a golf outing before the Los Angeles Lakers faced the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. An enthusiastic golfer, James took some practice shots at the Olympic Golf Club earlier that day, combining his love for golf with preparation for the upcoming basketball game.

Nuclr Golf shared footage of James showcasing his golf swing on its X (formerly Twitter) platform, inviting followers to comment on the basketball star’s technique.

“Describe LeBron James’ swing using one word/GIF…,” Nuclr Golf wrote in the caption.

The Lakers secured a decisive victory against the Warriors, winning 129–101. James’s golf session was part of a series of outings he’s enjoyed recently, including a round earlier in the month with fellow NBA players Jayson Tatum and Kevin Love. Love shared highlights of their golf time on his Instagram, illustrating how golf has become a shared interest among top players.

Jayson Tatum, known for his enthusiasm on the golf course as well, commented on James’s progress with the sport.

“You know what, I’m just happy my guy’s out there. It’s been a long time coming. Part of it is you gotta get out there, fall in love with the game. We all probably looked like this when we first got out there. But hopefully you keep practicing and he’s only going up from there,” Tatum said, adding that James just needs to relax and loosen up.

LeBron’s Golf Day with Jon Rahm Before Lakers Face Suns

Earlier this week, LeBron James spent time golfing with LIV Golf star Jon Rahm at the Silverleaf Club. Rahm shared a photo from their outing on Instagram, captioning it with a crown emoji to highlight the moment with the basketball legend.

The two golfers enjoyed their day ahead of James’s game against the Phoenix Suns, where the Lakers narrowly lost 113–110. On the golf front, Rahm has been building momentum after a strong start on the 2026 LIV Golf tour. At the season opener in Riyadh, he played four consistent rounds of 67, 68, 67, and 63, finishing solo second.

Rahm then continued his strong form at the LIV Golf Adelaide event, recording rounds of 68, 63, 66, and 71, again securing second place. These performances have set him up well as he looks forward to upcoming tournaments in the Saudi golf circuit. Rahm also finished as runner-up at the Riyadh event last year, underlining his competitiveness on the tour.

Golf and Basketball: A Growing Passion for LeBron James

LeBron James’s continued involvement in golf reflects a steady passion for the sport outside the basketball court. Balancing intense NBA schedules with rounds of golf potentially offers both relaxation and motivation. His growing skills and dedication to golf have caught the attention of peers like Jayson Tatum and Kevin Love, who share similar interests and support each other’s progress.

As LeBron prepares for future Lakers matchups, his golf outings provide a unique glimpse into how top athletes maintain focus and enjoyment beyond their primary sport. With his combination of determination and passion, James is expected to continue engaging in golf while leading his team through an important NBA season.
