CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers, collaborating with the City of Cleveland and Downtown Cleveland, Inc., have announced the creation of a new public plaza at the intersection of East 4th Street and Huron Road. This development, named Meet Me Here Plaza, is designed to honor the 10th anniversary of the Cavaliers’ 2016 NBA Championship.
Features and Location of Meet Me Here Plaza
Situated opposite Rocket Arena and near the forthcoming Cosm Cleveland, which is expected to open in 2027, the plaza will highlight a professional-size Cavaliers-branded basketball court. Additional elements include seating areas, interactive green space, and public artwork dedicated to commemorating the championship team. These features aim to create an inviting environment for the community and fans alike.

The Cavaliers emphasized that the activation will act as an accessible, community-centered destination recognizing an important milestone in Cleveland’s history while enhancing the vibrancy of the downtown area.

Meet Me Here Plaza is slated to officially open on June 1.
