ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Garett Bolles received the 2026 NFLPA Alan Page Community Award on Tuesday, a prestigious honor voted on by NFL players to recognize exceptional contributions off the field. Bolles earned this distinction for his dedicated work supporting children and youth in Colorado, making him the fourth player in Denver Broncos history to win the award and the first since John Lynch in 2007.
Notable Community Impact and Initiatives Led by Bolles
Aside from being the Broncos’ nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, Bolles has taken significant strides to make a difference locally. He helped establish the Bjorem + Bolles Childhood Apraxia Training Center in Parker, Colorado—an educational facility designed to assist children with speech and language challenges. This effort was inspired by his son’s diagnosis of Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Bolles also collaborates with Vertical Skills Academy, which supports children facing dyslexia and language-based learning issues. Furthermore, he actively mentors justice-involved youth through participation in a juvenile probation court program in Arapahoe County and visits to the Marvin W. Foote Youth Services Center, demonstrating his commitment to positive youth development.
Recognition and Support for Bolles’ Foundation
As the recipient of the Alan Page Community Award, Bolles’ foundation will receive a $100,000 donation to further its impactful community programs. The honor highlights his ongoing dedication to improving lives through education, mentorship, and advocacy in the Denver area and beyond.
