From Junior Colleges to the NFL: Pharms’ Football Path
Pharms began his college football career at San Joaquin Delta College before earning a full-ride scholarship to Friends University in Kansas. His excellent performance and leadership at Friends University caught the attention of several NFL teams. After playing in two junior colleges and competing in multiple professional football leagues, Pharms secured a position on the New England Patriots roster in 2022, culminating in his Super Bowl debut.

Recently, Pharms visited local schools in his hometown, including Stagg High School and Edison High School in Stockton, accompanied by his mother, Franquell. A graduate of Stagg High School’s Class of 2014, he spoke to current student-athletes about the importance of maintaining good grades, noting that stronger academic performance might have eased his own path.
