Travis Kelce Predicts Seahawks Will Shock Patriots in Super Bowl

Travis Kelce has added his voice to those predicting the Seattle Seahawks will upset the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX this Sunday. After missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014, Kelce—an 11-time Pro Bowler—will watch the big game from the sidelines for the first time in four years, as his Kansas City Chiefs fell short in the AFC.

Kelce Offers Praise for Patriots’ Leadership and Defense

During an early offseason appearance on his New Heights podcast, Kelce expressed admiration for Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and quarterback Drake Maye, acknowledging the talent they bring to the matchup.

“Drake Maye’s got his opportunity to implement himself into Super Bowl stardom. And I just think it’s gonna be a great game,”

Kelce said.

He also highlighted New England’s command over game tempo.

“They just have the ability to control the pace of every game that they’re in, and make the right decisions and the big plays when they need to be made on the offensive side,”

Kelce continued. “That defense is good, man.”

High Expectations for Seahawks’ Balanced Strengths

Despite his respect for the Patriots, Kelce is impressed by the Seahawks’ energetic and well-rounded roster. He predicts Seattle has what it takes to come out on top.

“They got the energy. They got the excitement. They got the big-play ability. They got the ability to grind it out in the run game. It’s gonna be a (expletive) fun matchup. That defense flies around. I’m sure they’ll make Drake Maye’s job a little bit harder than it’s been,”

Kelce explained.

He added,

“I’m excited for a (expletive) great game, but I do think Seattle’s got what it takes to come out on top on this one.”

Kelce Roots for Sam Darnold’s Remarkable Comeback

Kelce also shared his support for Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold, who has revitalized his career after struggling with the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers. “I love that story,” Kelce said.

“I love who he is as a dude, how he stayed true to the process and himself and his confidence. And right now, he’s playing better than he’s played all his career.”

Anticipation Builds Ahead of the Super Bowl

With the matchup shaping up as an intense battle between New England’s disciplined coaching and Seattle’s dynamic energy, Kelce’s prediction adds to the excitement surrounding Super Bowl LX. Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see if the Seahawks can execute their high-energy style and disrupt the Patriots’ pace control to claim the championship.
