KhaDarel Hodge’s Journey Through the NFL
Hodge, 31, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2018 after playing college football at Prairie View A&M. He initially signed with the Los Angeles Rams and remained under contract with them for the 2019 season. After being waived in the preseason, he was claimed by the Cleveland Browns, who later re-signed him as a restricted free agent.
The Browns eventually waived Hodge, leading to brief stints with the Detroit Lions, where he completed a season. In 2022, the Falcons signed Hodge to a one-year contract, followed by two additional one-year extensions. Last March, he secured a two-year, $6 million deal with Atlanta.
Performance and Contributions During Falcons Tenure
During the most recent season, Hodge appeared in 12 games for Atlanta. Offensively, he recorded three catches on 10 targets, totaling 31 yards. On special teams, Hodge made nine tackles, underscoring his primary role and value in that phase of the game.
