Broncos Lock In Tyler Badie, Extend Two More ERFAs

The Denver Broncos have finalized contracts with exclusive rights free agents running back Tyler Badie and defensive lineman Jordan Jackson, according to Mike Klis. This move secures both players for the upcoming season as the team looks to maintain roster continuity.

Additional Contract Extensions for Defensive Back and Linebacker

Earlier the same day, the Broncos also extended contracts with two other exclusive rights free agents: defensive back Devon Key and outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman. These signings reinforce Denver’s depth on defense heading into the new season.

Tyler Badie’s Journey and 2025 Season Performance

Tyler Badie, 26, originally entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2022. Despite signing a four-year, $3.8 million contract with Baltimore, he was waived after the preseason. The Ravens later placed him on their practice squad before the Broncos signed him to their active roster, where he has alternated between active status and the bench.

During the 2025 season, Badie participated in all 16 games for Denver, rushing eight times for 23 yards and catching 19 passes on 31 targets, accumulating 141 receiving yards. His performance showed versatility as a role player within the offense.
