This decision comes after Nyamekye spent six months gaining valuable experience in the USL Super League with Fort Lauderdale during their debut season.

Nyamekye, a prominent member of the Ghanaian national team, the Black Queens, initially signed a three-year contract with Gotham FC in early 2025 but was loaned to Fort Lauderdale in August to accelerate her professional growth. Throughout fourteen appearances, she scored once and assisted twice, distinguishing herself by leading the squad in key passes and demonstrating high passing accuracy.
