Kids’ Day Offers Fun and Prizes

Friday, July 26, is dedicated to the younger crowd with Emery Telcom’s Kid’s Day. From 5 p.m., kids aged six to 17 can head to the pavilion for their own Bingo game. Early Birds: 5K Fundraiser and Pickleball Tournament

Saturday, July 27, starts bright and early with two major events kicking off at 7 a.m. First, the 5K Fundraiser for the Emery High School Cross Country team will see participants lacing up their running shoes. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the pavilion with a modest entry fee of $15. It’s a great way to get moving while supporting a local cause.

Simultaneously, the Pickleball Tournament will serve up competitive fun at the Emery County Fairground Pickleball courts. Sponsored by ProRehab, the tournament invites players of all skill levels to showcase their skills on the court and compete for prizes.

Later in the day, cornhole enthusiasts will take center stage at the Cornhole Tournament. Scheduled to begin at noon on Saturday, the tournament will be held next to the visitor’s center.
