The Picklr’s Indoor Pickleball Franchise Expansion: The Picklr, an indoor pickleball franchise based in Kaysville, Utah, will open its first Long Island location this fall in Centereach. The 33,900-square-foot pickleball facility, located at 217 Middle Country Road in the former Big Lots, will add to the growing popularity of pickleball in the region.
First Long Island Location in Franchise Expansion
The Picklr Centereach is part of the franchise’s national growth strategy. The location will feature 10 high-quality pickleball courts with proprietary outdoor surfacing provided by Just Courts. The facility will also include a full pro shop and private event space.
“The Picklr Centereach is our first club on Long Island in a multi-unit strategy to grow the sport and offer more courts for Long Islanders. We expect to announce additional club locations soon,” said Syosset resident Tom Neale, Founder of Arete Sports Group, the franchisee for The Picklr on Long Island.
Membership Benefits and Nationwide Access
Membership at The Picklr will offer unlimited open play, league play, and tournaments. Members can also enroll in private and semi-private lessons and clinics led by The Picklr’s certified trainers. Additionally, members will be able to use their membership at any Picklr location nationwide.

National Expansion Plans
The Centereach facility is part of a larger expansion effort by The Picklr. The franchise plans to open more than 475 new locations with approximately 4,750 courts across the country over the next few years.
