PicklePalz Pickleball Matchmaking App: Seventeen-year-old entrepreneur Adam Mendelsohn has teamed up with technology company A3Logics to launch PicklePalz, a smart app that connects pickleball players based on skill level, location, and availability. Built from Adam’s love for the game, the new platform helps players find partners, schedule matches, and locate courts in one easy place.
Turning an Idea Into Action
Adam Mendelsohn came up with the idea while playing pickleball with his father Jason Mendelsohn in Bozeman, Montana. He noticed how hard it was for casual players to find others to play with. This challenge sparked the creation of PicklePalz—a smart platform that aims to make finding a match simple and social.
With help from A3Logics and guidance from Vice President of Sales and Marketing Kelly C. Powell, Adam turned his idea into a real app. A3Logics provided technical support and helped bring Adam’s vision to life.
Adam Mendelsohn said,
“I wanted to build something that made it easier for people to get on the court—not just to play, but to truly connect. In a world where real human connection can feel increasingly rare, I saw an opportunity to bring people together through the game I love. When I realized there wasn’t a good way for casual players to find matches, I started sketching out what it could look like. A3Logics helped transform those early ideas into a real, working platform. Seeing it come to life—and knowing it can help people build community—has been an incredible experience.”
Kelly C. Powell shared,
“Working with Adam has been a refreshing reminder of how much innovation can come from the next generation. He had a clear problem in mind, a strong sense of purpose, and a willingness to learn. Our team was proud to help bring his concept to life, combining Adam’s fresh vision with our technical execution to build something truly unique for the pickleball community.”
A Bigger Purpose Behind the Platform
Adam Mendelsohn is not only the founder of PicklePalz but also runs Mendelsohn Math Tutoring, a nonprofit that has helped over 500 students through a team of 15 tutors. He also serves on the advisory board of Hate Ends Now, which focuses on Holocaust education.
His goal with PicklePalz goes beyond sports. It’s about building a sense of community through shared interests and making human connection easier for everyone.
