The Brooklyn Pickleball Team entered the contest with three wins, while the New York Hustlers had yet to claim a victory this season. From the first game, Brooklyn set the pace and kept control until the end.
Early Success in Doubles Matches
In women’s doubles, Rachel Rohrabacher and Jackie Kawamoto defeated Dominique Schaefer and Helena Jansen 11-5. The match showed Brooklyn’s steady teamwork and smart shot selection.
The men’s doubles match followed, where Riley Newman and AJ Koller faced Erik Forsythe and Zane Ford. Newman and Koller moved quickly and won with a strong 11-2 score.

In the first mixed doubles game, Riley Newman and Jackie Kawamoto played against Zane Ford and Dominique Schaefer. Brooklyn stayed ahead to take the set 11-7.
The second mixed doubles match saw AJ Koller and Rachel Rohrabacher challenge Erik Forsythe and Helena Jansen. Brooklyn stayed focused and closed out the victory 11-8, ending the match before a DreamBreaker was needed.
