St. Louis Shock Dominates MLP Dallas With Clean Sweep Over SoCal Hard Eights

St. Louis Shock Pickleball Victory: The St. Louis Shock defeated the SoCal Hard Eights 4-0 on Saturday at the Advil Targeted Relief MLP Dallas tournament. The match took place at Pickler Universe in Carrollton, Texas. St. Louis won all four doubles matches. The DreamBreaker round was not played.

St. Louis Takes Control Early

In the women’s doubles match, Anna Bright and Kate Fahey of St. Louis Shock dominated Cailyn Campbell and Irina Tereschenko of SoCal Hard Eights. Bright and Fahey won 11-3, giving their team an early lead.

The men’s doubles match followed. Hayden Patriquin and Gabriel Tardio of the Shock beat Ryan Fu and Blaine Hovenier 11-4. This strong start gave St. Louis a 2-0 advantage in the match.

Mixed Doubles Seals the Win

St. Louis Shock continued their winning streak in the mixed doubles rounds. In the first mixed doubles match, Gabriel Tardio and Kate Fahey beat Blaine Hovenier and Irina Tereschenko 11-3.

In the second mixed doubles match, Hayden Patriquin and Anna Bright faced Ryan Fu and Cailyn Campbell. The Shock pair won 11-5, clinching the overall match win at 4-0.

DreamBreaker Not Needed

Since St. Louis Shock had already won four matches, the DreamBreaker tiebreaker was not required. The team lineup for the DreamBreaker would have included Gabriel Tardio, Hayden Patriquin, Kate Fahey, and Anna Bright for the Shock, and Blaine Hovenier, Ryan Fu, Cailyn Campbell, and Irina Tereschenko for the SoCal Hard Eights. But the match ended without that final round.
