MLP Selects Vulcan as Official Ball: In a significant development for Major League Pickleball (MLP), Vulcan Sporting Goods Co. has been named the league’s official ball supplier, with the VPRO FLIGHT set to be used across all MLP league and team events. This announcement marks a new chapter in MLP’s growth and professionalization, starting with the Vulcan MLP Salt Lake City by Margaritaville event at The Picklr Kaysville from Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28.

A Strategic Partnership

The partnership between MLP and Vulcan was sealed after a thorough evaluation of the VPRO FLIGHT’s performance on acrylic surfaces, making it a fitting choice for elite-level play. This ball, known for its precision and durability, is already in use on the Carvana PPA Tour. The VPRO FLIGHT will be available for purchase at vulcanpickleball.com and pickleballcentral.com, with wider retail distribution commencing next month.

Event Kickoff and Exciting Features

The collaboration will debut at the Salt Lake City event, where fans can expect engaging activations including crowd giveaways and an on-site recording of the popular King of the Court (KOTC) podcast. The episode will feature Vulcan-sponsored pro player Tyler Loong, representing the MLP’s Utah Black Diamonds, adding a personal touch to the event.
