Fahey and Devidze met just last week in Cape Coral, where Fahey won in three games. This time, she needed only two. Fahey jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first game, helped by four missed returns from Devidze. However, Devidze fought back to tie the game at 6-6 before Fahey closed it out with a five-point run.
Fahey continued her aggressive play at the kitchen line in the second game. A lengthy stoppage occurred when Devidze challenged a line call, leading to Head Referee Don Stanley overturning the initial ruling.

“I think I’m at my best when I’m fiery but calm. Especially with the overturn, I probably would have argued it and could have done something, but honestly I think I’m at my best when I’m calm.” – (Fahey)
