Cameron Brink Open to Playboy Shoot—But Only If Fiancé Says Yes

Cameron Brink, a prominent figure in the WNBA, has expressed openness to participating in a Playboy photoshoot, contingent on her fiancé’s consent. The basketball star has recently gained attention for her involvement in several high-profile fashion shoots, raising questions about whether she might take her modeling career a step further.

Brink’s possible move toward Playboy comes following her fellow basketball player Kysre Gondrezick’s topless shoot for the publication. When approached by TMZ about the idea, Brink responded with cautious optimism, saying, “We’ll see,” before adding with a smile, “Maybe… if my fiancé approves!”

Engagement Details and Wedding Plans

Brink became engaged to Ben Felter, her long-time partner, in the fall of 2024. The proposal occurred on the rooftop terrace of the Shangri-La hotel in Paris, France. While the couple intends to wed later this year, specifics such as the wedding date and location have not yet been made public.

Experience in Fashion Shoots and Comfort With Nudity

Although Brink has never posed nude for a photoshoot, she is accustomed to revealing fashion sessions. In 2023, she appeared in Players magazine wearing minimal clothing and shared an insight about her comfort during the shoot. She revealed on her Straight 2 Cam podcast that she was “fully naked” before the photos were taken, conveying a sense of trust in the creative team on set.

She explained,

“I’m usually pretty open, I feel like I trust the creatives in the room,”

and added,

“Yeah, I was walking around naked. There was only gays and girls in the room, I think. So, it wasn’t an issue. But, yeah, I feel like when they have a vision, I like the artistry of it all. I like shooting stuff like that. I think it’s fun.”

Support From Family Regarding Body Confidence

Brink’s mother, Michelle, a former basketball player for Virginia Tech, joined the podcast episode where her daughter shared these details. Michelle expressed surprise at the admission but voiced pride in Brink’s confidence, stating she “loves” how comfortable her daughter is with her body. She also noted that during her own playing days, she would not have considered participating in similar shoots.

Navigating Public Criticism Amid Injury Recovery

Away from modeling, Brink has recently faced criticism from some fans who questioned her commitment to recovering from injury, accusing her of prioritizing red carpet appearances over rehabilitation. Responding to a comment that suggested she would have returned to the court sooner if she had devoted as much energy to rehab as to social events, Brink firmly denied the accusation.

She posted,

“I’m working INCREDIBLY hard every day,”

adding,

“I would give anything to be out on the court right now. Basketball is my passion and everything to me… to say this you aren’t a real fan.”

Brink also thanked supporters who understood the lengthy recovery process from ACL injuries, saying,

“Thank you to those who understand ACLs can take a year & giving me grace. I cannot wait until I get to play again.”

Back on the Court and Looking Ahead

Currently, Cameron Brink is actively preparing to return as a player for the Breeze in the Unrivaled 2026 season. Her engagement to Ben Felter and her willingness to consider innovative modeling opportunities like a Playboy shoot demonstrate her evolving personal and professional life outside basketball. Should she proceed with the Playboy project, her fiancé’s blessing remains a pivotal condition, reflecting her thoughtful approach to balancing her career ambitions and relationships.
