He signed with the team and made his professional debut with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, where he had an impressive start, hitting .313 in just eight games. In 2023, Freeland played for the Great Lakes Loons, where he batted .240 over 106 games, hitting nine home runs and driving in 57 runs. His performance earned him a promotion to the Tulsa Drillers in May 2024, and later to the Triple-A Oklahoma City Baseball Club in August 2024.
Breakthrough (2025)
Freeland began the 2025 season with the Oklahoma City team before being selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues on July 29, 2025.
