Her father, Ron Holmes, was a standout point guard for the University of Southern California Trojans men’s basketball team in the 1980s, while her mother, Faye, was a point guard and track star at Long Beach State. Asia is the oldest of three children, with a brother, Shabazz Muhammad, who is a professional basketball player that played five seasons in the National Basketball Association. Additionally, her uncle, Stephone Paige, had a successful career in the National Football League, and her aunt, Robin Holmes-Sullivan, was a four-year starter for Cal State Fullerton’s basketball team.
