Bryce Perkins (born December 20, 1996) is an American professional football quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Arizona State University, Arizona Western College, and the University of Virginia before signing with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Perkins has also played for the Carolina Panthers and the Michigan Panthers of the United Football League (UFL).
Early Life and Background
Bryce Perkins was born in Chandler, Arizona. He attended Chandler High School, where he made a significant impact as a quarterback. During his senior year, he led his high school team to its first state championship victory since 1949, showcasing his talent and leadership on the field. Over the course of his high school career, Perkins passed for 5,332 yards and 70 touchdowns, along with 26 rushing touchdowns, which earned him a scholarship to play college football. Perkins began his collegiate career at Arizona State University in 2015, where he redshirted his first year and unfortunately missed the entire 2016 season due to a serious injury.

After his time at Arizona State, Perkins transferred to Arizona Western College in 2017. In his only season there, he threw for 1,311 yards and seven touchdowns while also rushing for 353 yards and four touchdowns. His performance at Arizona Western helped him gain recognition and led to another transfer, this time to the University of Virginia in 2018. At Virginia, Perkins was named the starting quarterback and had a record-setting season, accumulating 3,603 total yards and 34 touchdowns.
