Charvarius Ward was born on May 16, 1996, in McComb, Mississippi. He grew up in the same small city and attended McComb High School, where he developed into a steady defensive back. Personal Life
Ward has had two children with his partner, Monique Cook: a daughter named Amani Joy, born on November 7, 2022, and a son named Charvarius Jr., born on December 28, 2024. Amani was born prematurely and was diagnosed with Down syndrome, and she also dealt with heart issues throughout her young life. She sadly passed away at the age of one on October 28, 2024, during Ward’s final season with the 49ers. Prior to one of Amani’s surgeries, Ward converted to Islam.
