Dietrich Arthur Enns is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). Early Life and Background
Dietrich Enns was born on May 16, 1991. He attended Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, Illinois, where he began to develop his skills as a baseball player. Following high school, he played college baseball for the Central Michigan Chippewas. In 2011, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he was named a league all-star. Enns was selected by the New York Yankees in the 19th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft. He started the 2013 season with the Charleston RiverDogs and was named a Mid-Season All-Star. Enns was promoted to the Class A-Advanced Tampa Yankees in June of that year.
